‘Mutsuz Ask’, teknolojinin dominant gelmeye basladigi günümüzde, insanların hislerini ve duygularini tecrübe ve ifade edis biçimlerini sorgular. Bu çalisma dijital dünyaya direnerek her bir asamasi elle üretilmis 12 gofraj baskıdan olusan bir seridir. Göz yaslari soyut formlara dönüsürken tüm dünyasını saran, asik bir kizin betimlenisidir, aslında. Yapiminda kullanilan geleneksel metodlar ile hiç bir renk katilmadan kabartilmis yumusak ve dokunsal gravür kagidi, günümüzde zar zor rastladigimiz gerçek saf aski sembolize eder.

The work questions the way people express or feel the emotions, in the present time where technology began to dominate. The love affairs started to give digital pleasures, while the dates turned into quick games with mobile apps. People forgot how to feel heart broken, so the excited butterflies abandoned the stomachs. All the purity of emotions faded away…
This is a representation of a girl in love, who's tear drops turn into abstracted forms. surrounding her world. The medium is traditionally embossed soft and tactile white etching paper, without any colour added on it, that symbolises the real purity of love, which is not common in this new age.
This is a series of8 pieces of blind embossed prints, that were created manually, resisting to the new digital world.
